Trent Ford (born January 16, 1979 in Akron, Ohio) is a British American actor and model.

Ford was born in Akron, Ohio to a US Navy test pilot father and an English mother from Birmingham. He moved to the UK at the age of 10 with his mother and grew up in London, graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in English. His mother is recently deceased. [1]

Ford appeared in the films How to Deal (with Mandy Moore), Deeply (with Kirsten Dunst), Gosford Park, Slap Her... She's French (with Piper Perabo, released in the U.S. as She Gets What She Wants) and September Dawn.

His best known role may be Zoey Bartlet's French boyfriend, Jean-Paul Charpentier, Vicomte de Condé de Bourbon, in the fourth season of the television drama The West Wing, and Superman's future enemy, Mr. Mxyzptlk in a fourth season episode of Smallville titled "Jinx".

He has also appeared in the ad for Calvin Klein perfume "eternity Moment" alongside Scarlett Johansson.

He has recently guest starred in several episode of the CBS sitcom, The Class, as Benjamin Chow an internationally known violinist and the boyfriend of Kat Warbler (Lizzy Caplan's character).

Stephenie Meyer, author of the best selling vampire-romance novels, Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, listed Ford as one of her favourite suggestions for the role of Jasper Hale, no further casting decisions have been made regarding the rest of the Cullen family.
