Trenchcoat is a live-action film produced by Walt Disney Pictures in 1983. The movie was directed towards a more mature audience when released at theaters, and therefore, Disney did not attach its name as such (it was rated PG in 1983 and Touchstone Films would not start until the following year).
[edit] Synopsis
Sinister settings, menacing murderers and international intrigue are all revealed in this fast-paced, engaging detective spoof with plenty of plot twists. When aspiring mystery writer Mickey Raymond (Margot Kidder) travels to Malta to research her next novel and falls in love with a handsome, mysterious American (Robert Hays), she is drawn into a conspiracy more treacherous than any of the imaginary capers in her unpublished books.
