Trekky Records is an independent record label based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The label was created in 2001 by Chapel Hill natives Martin Anderson and Will Hackney as an outlet for their friends' music. The stated goal of Trekky Records is to restore the indie music scene that once flourished in Chapel Hill. Trekky Records represents twelve area bands mostly of the indie rock genre, but the label also features a hip hop group.
