Trecenta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 80 km southwest of Venice and about 25 km west of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,098 and an area of 35.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Trecenta contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Berguarina, Bignozza, Borgo Bassa, Branzettina, Campagnan, Case Bon, Case Brancaleoni, Case Destro Canale, Case Mirandola, Case Pavani, Cuoghe, Gorghi, Gorgo, Gorgo Spino, La Chiesolina, Marzanata, Pascolon, Pissatola, Sariano, Vallalta sul Canale, and Vallalta sul Tartaro.
Trecenta borders the following municipalities: Badia Polesine, Bagnolo di Po, Canda, Ceneselli, Giacciano con Baruchella, Salara.
