[edit] Unrepresentative Quotation
The quotation about Trevor Phillips views of Islam are unrepresentative. He has many progressive views of Muslims, and I doubt that he would want to offend most of them by having his wikipedia article devoted to a hateful and negative viewpoint of a this religion or the ethnic groups connected to this religion by association. This quote was clearly added to the article by someone with an Islamophobic grudge. [[User:NukeMason|NukeMason 12:27, 07 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No Longer Head of Racial Equality Commission?
Has he stepped down as head of the Racial Equality Commission? According to the BBC he has, they refer to him as:
"The former head of the Commission for Racial Equality, Trevor Phillips," BBC News [1]
I came here to check but it isn't mentioned. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.5.7.168 (talk) 01:33, 13 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Friendship with Peter Mandelson
What is the evidence for "Peter Mandleson was at university with him." I was at Imperial with Trevor from 1971 and have no recollection of Peter Mandelson who "read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at St Catherine's College, Oxford (1973-1976)" Bearfoot 23:06, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Forced to apologise for joke
What was the joke about The Queen Mother for which he was forced to apologise on 18 June 2007? 195.92.40.49 16:33, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I've added content and a link to reference this 'joke'. Shame it seems so far to have been swept under the carpet, ironically the media are giving more time to the death of unashamedly non politically correct comic Bernard Manning. Richardewing 08:52, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Relationship with Black power political groups?
Ken Livingstone said that he dabbled with Black Power in his youth. Can anyone write a section about this? 80.43.52.42 19:02, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
