As of 2005 the correct spelling is Trefforest with two Fs. This has been the case for rather a long time.

I have moved it to the correct spelling and redirected Treforest to it Mark W Beech 23:15, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Where was Tom Jones born? Was it Trefforest, or Pontypridd? --Rebroad 23:18, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

He was born in Laura Street, Trefforest. Trefforest is a satellite town of Pontypridd and has long been included in "Pontypridd" for postal reasons. I suppose its the same as someone from Richmond upon Thames saying they come from London as more people will be familiar with the larger town the smaller one is next to.
