[edit] Notability

Trees:

  • Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable). Dane Conover has, if you include his other projects.
  • Has been featured in multiple non-trivial published works in reliable and reputable media (excludes things like school newspapers, personal blogs, etc...). See [1]. Of course WP:Recentism means that a lot of the reviews from the early 80's aren't online.
  • Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network. The band's two videos were played on MTV back in the early 1980's, and on VH1 Classic and MTV2 more recently. See the MTV2 logo here.
