[edit] Personal attacks

My post was not a personal attack and I assure you that if you had contacted User: Madhatte prior to accusing me of such you would have found that out. The phrase "Homus Meganogginus" is a widely known term on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. I appoligize if, as a civilian, you have never heard of this term. It is used to refer to this particular individual's rather unique condition. He is well aware of this and certainly does not take it as any type of "attack". -- User: Trassin 06:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Regardless of whether Homus Meganogginus was a personal attack or not, please do not make such vanity or joke articles to Wikipedia in future since you're wasting our time having to clean up after you. Thanks. PS: Please keep your signature as short as possible. --  Netsnipe  ►  07:14, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BEB Wikipage discussion

I changed "Electronics Technicians" to just "Technicians". There were just as many EM's involved in the origins of the BEB as there were ET's. Leedon was especially instrumental in the early days, as was Tzalik. A casual nod to the infamous Rain Panthers should also be made in any discussion of early BEB history. -- Hatte —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Madhatte (talkcontribs) 17:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC).

A tag has been placed on Blue Elephant Brigade, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kinu t/c 06:37, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
