i just joined up. I've been editing the Gibson Les Paul guitar page... i know this topic because i've been in company with collectors, historians, and musicians (pro and amateurs) for decades... constant "tokity tok" on the of music and instrument as we perused pawn shops and hung out. Further, i have a an MFA in writing, and am accustomed to editing... (i'm also a published poet, but i promise i won't do page re-writes in verse. :)

The gibson les paul page was confusing, full of jargon, assumptions of knowledge, and sentencing/syntax errors. I set myself to task on the fairly lengthy entry--i'm about 1/2 done--just past the "junior" but not to the "tv" section. The BOT reverted a few entries, but in error. However, i'm new to wikipedia (but have made entries on books, and a few historical figures), and if i'm making entries in an atypical way or against the grain of "WIKI-ettiquette", i'm sorry. Today, i thought i'd identify myself, offer my credibility on the topic matter, and "sign up." BUT... how do i make my id name on the guitar improvemnt member page turn into a blue link type thing. I'm "not so good" at computers.
