[edit] External links

This external link to Fondue has been reverted several times as WP:Linkspam, as have the external links added to Postcard and Tram. Given your account name, you seem to be affiliated with these websites and if so, posting these external links to Wikipedia articles may be a conflict of interest. Moreover, the links point to personal websites on free web hosting services, but personal websites are usually considered inappropriate as external links in Wikipedia articles and lastly, there appear to be copyrighted but unlicensed images on at least one of the websites. Please take a moment to review WP:EL and WP:COI and please refrain from adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk) 00:30, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

This picture looks like a copyvio to me. Gwen Gale (talk) 11:24, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Now that you've demonstrated that the website is your own (by removing the copyrighted image), we can clearly say you have an interest in the site and therefore cannot add it to the article yourself, following WP:COI. Please refrain from repeatedly adding this link to the article, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk) 18:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

You also seem to control http://www.tramways.freeserve.co.uk/, which sells memberships and books along with featuring model railroad content. This link is also not appropriate for Wikipedia under WP:EL and WP:COI. Please stop re-adding it to the article, thank you. Gwen Gale (talk) 18:21, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
