Hello there. Whatever you've come looking for, you're in the wrong place :)

I was born and raised in the not-so-quiet-anymore Caribbean country of the Cayman Islands. I am currently at King's College London in the UK reading for a LL.B. I am 19 years of age.

I can't remember when I joined Wikipedia, but it was a good while ago. I haven't been very active on here. I lurk in the shadows; very surly, usually approach from the front. I have no lists of articles I am proud of, articles I care about, or articles that my pet monkey is fond of. In fact, I find it all quite silly. I read a lot of what goes on on Wikipedia, but I can't be bothered. The game has changed and I just don't have time to learn all the conventions. At the very least I don't have a red-link, though =D

By my very nature I have few interests, on here or anywhere. However, you may see me editing articles having to do with the Cayman Islands, the Caribbean in general, the higher education sector, and articles with a lot of fluff such as official state car. I very much agree with Jimbo Wales' statement (roughly paraphrased) that the goal is to make available the entire sum of all knowledge. To this end I consider myself an inclusionist. I defend Wikipedia against charges of inaccuracy and the like whenever I have the chance because few are familiar with everything that goes on behind the articles they read. In particular, I feel Wikipedia is making great strides in improving its quality and for that I commend my fellow editors.

That said, I am considering getting into Wikipedia on a more serious level, and inparticular, taking a role in WikiProject: Caribbean. I think that with some hard work, good articles about the Caribbean and its people (although hard to write and source) work towards Jimbo's dream. As he said on some talk show (I forget) the areas where Wikipedia is at its strength are the areas where its editors find their interests. It sounds obvious but it makes so much sense.

Yes, I have deliberately linked a lot of words that don't need linking. Or do they? Because we have articles on them. And that's the point. Wikipedia should be about everything. And it is getting there. Happy editing.
