I am teacher and researcher in Biochemistry and Genetics at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. Wikipedia has become an important, if not always accurate, source of information. I have made additions, and corrected errors, in my field of expertise : Translational Control of Gene expression. Note: that although I intend to make some articles as accurate as possible, they can of course be started, influenced, and changed by others (this is Wikipedia), thus I am not responsible for the final content.
Can you check the "Kozak" page, and look at the numbering for me? For some reason, as I had remembered it, the +1 refers to the codon itself and not the nucleotide. Thanks.
