My legal name is Arthur Cronos, but used the stage name Traktor Topaz when I performed music in restaurants, and I became known by this stage name.
I live in Northern California near the Oregon border, on the lower slopes of Mount Shasta, which is a very scenic volcano. In the case of activity, the view will be excellent from here.
Full Disclosure: I am the U.S. Manager for the Mobius Megatar company, which manufactures specialty musical instruments designed to be played with the two-handed tapping method, which is also called 'touchstyle.' (Touchstyle is a word coined in the 1990's by Frank Jolliffe, then a well-known Chapman Stick player; the term touchstyle means all forms of playing music by means of one-handed tapping or two-handed tapping.)
The Mobius Megatar company also hosts the popular Tappistry.Org two-handed tapping forum. This is open to all musicians interested in playing touchstyle music on any type of stringed instrument. I am the site engineer, and a frequent participant.
My job at Mobius Megatar includes: * Design and engineering in our factory shop. * Programming and operating the CNC machinery which cuts the musical instruments from blanks of laminated wood. * Writing and editing the MegaTapper News, a newsletter about two-handed tapping with free subscription available on the website. * Customer service and order-taking. * Bookkeeping and administrative work.
I'm the author of a slightly popular weblog called 'The Adventures of Bloggard,' that contains over 400 micro-stories, mostly humorous, poignant, or thought-provoking, about people and events in Texas, Europe, China, San Franciso and other places. If interested, a concise Biography of Arthur Cronos can be found there.
To reach me, simply contact the Mobius Megatar office. The mailing address, telephone, email, and Skype ID are listed there.
While I am not very knowledgeable about the Wikipedia interface, if assistance is needed regarding topics related to Mobius Megatar, other specialty two-handed tapping instruments, the field of two-handed tapping (touchstyle), or other relevant knowledge that I possess which would be useful for the Wikipedia project, please contact me.
