Traxon Technologies Ltd is a German company headquartered in Hong Kong offering Solid State Lighting (SSL) systems that comprise both LED lighting fixtures and lighting control.

Originally founded in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the then lifestyle and design company Traxon expanded its operations throughout Europe and finally moved to Hong Kong in the mid-nineties, from where it pioneered the nascent LED market with its MOOD LIGHTClassic panel: the first remote-controlled LED fixture for the consumer market. Throughout the years 2000 to 2003, Traxon started shifting its business focus from B2C lifestyle products to professional architectural LED lighting fixtures.
With the opening of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park in 2005, Traxon fully moved its headquarters to Hong Kong SAR, where it benefits from testing laboratories and common testing facilities with other HKSTP companies such as Cree, Fujitsu, GP Electronics, Lighthouse, Philips. With Research & Development divisions in both Germany and Hong Kong, Traxon currently serves 10 overseas offices, a network of distributors, integrators and clients worldwide.

With focus on the architectural, entertainment and display lighting markets, Traxon Technologies’ products cover a wide range of lighting fixtures and control. The lighting categories covered by Traxon's product portfolio are decorative lighting, backlighting, high brightness lighting as well as architectural and accent lighting.
Using the lighting industry standard communication protocol DMX512 for its lighting control, Traxon offers a compatible system for use with any lighting control.

Traxon has major operations in Europe, with its European headquarters and logistics hub located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands; heading local offices in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Paris (France), Birmingham (UK), Barcelona (Spain) and Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Its North American operations are headed from New York (USA), South America is handled by Traxon Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Traxon’s Asian operations are organized through its Hong Kong headquarters, with further offices in Shanghai and Melbourne. The Japanese market is covered by Traxon Japan, situated in Tokyo.
