Travis J. Snyder was born December 15, 1982 in Huntington, California. Travis was selected in the 27th round of the 2003 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies. He is 6'3", weighing 215 pounds and was formerly a right-handed relief pitcher for the Modesto Nuts of the Colorado Rockies' farm system. Travis now plays in the MUNY-MSBL League of Western New York for Erie Buffalo. [1]

Travis attended Canisius College for 3 years with a split Academic and Athletic scholarship, playing Baseball only in 2002. 2002 Stats- Led the team with five complete games… Made a team-leading 12 starts on the mound and pitched in 18 games… Posted two shutouts… Pitched in 78.3 innings and struck out a team best 84 hitters… Threw complete game shutouts against Fairfield April 15, and Niagara May 12… Recorded a 1.54 ERA in his last seven outings with 34 strikeouts in 42 innings.

Travis attended Holland High School [2] in Holland, NY and graduated with a Regents diploma in 2001. In his senior year he led the team to its first division championship in over 60 years winning the ECIC Division IV Class C title. Snyder went 6-1 that year striking out 55 and walking only 10.
