Travis Draft

Travis Draft began his career at The Second City as an observer, working behind the scenes. After working his way through the ranks, Travis directed and acted in a gonzo television pilot that was passed around the entertainment industry's underground for months -- and eventually led to the creation of the MTV cult-hit Buzzkill.

In creating the ground-breaking, character-driven, hidden-camera show, Draft and friends Dave Sheridan and Frank Hudetz have been recognized as having paved the way for such shows as Jackass, Tom Green, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment and Spy TV -- the latter of which Draft wrote, directed, co-produced and acted in for NBC.

It was only natural then that The Sci-Fi channel called in Draft when they were developing their first hidden-camera show -- the now infamous Scare Tactics. Travis ended up staying with Scare Tactics for three years, splitting his time between acting and directing. During that time he was also cast as a regular on the Comedy Central hit Trigger Happy TV, and spent his time flying all over the country, pranking people for two different shows.

Travis Draft has now played over 500 characters on TV.

In the summer of 2003, Travis teamed up with former Buzzkill cast-mate Dave Sheridan, to form the band Van Stone. Their first show was performed in front of 10 people. Their second show was on the east coast leg ofThe Vans Warped Tour.

The band has continued on, releasing a self-titled record, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live several times, appearing on morning radio shows, including one at Indie 103 Los Angeles and the Adam Carolla Morning Show, which Sheridan got the band banned from, for taking lewd pictures with a porn star on the desk of the president of programming. Van Stone shot a TV pilot with Producer/Director Troy Miller Flight of the Conchords, and performs year-round at various festivals across the U.S., like The Bamboozle.

During all this rock and roll ruckus Draft managed to write ,produce ,act ,and direct a few more projects for Playboy TV. The adult hidden camera show Totally Busted,and forthcoming Canoga Park a Hybrid of BBC's "The Office meets Boogie Nights".
