"Travesía Hacia Venus" is the second single from Ailyn's first fanzine demo album Melodía Eterna. Released digitally, it was downloadable for free through her website to support her. The single includes the B-side "Quiero Estar Contigo", a song that didn't make it to the final cut of the album.

The music video for "Travesía Hacia Venus" was directed by Raúl Ramírez (he also did the directing for the live DVD "Passion - En Concierto"), and was filmed in Gualba, Barcelona in August 2006.

The video features Ailyn in a photoshoot in the Gualba Park in Barcelona, Spain. The pictures from this shoot were used for the artwork of the single.

Initially not intended to be the official video for the song, it was later included as a gift to the fans.
