Travel Channel (UK) is a British satellite television channel which is available on Sky Digital channel 261 along with a one hour time-shifted (+1) service on channel 262. It is focused on entertaining and informative lifestyle and travel programmes. It explores every facet of travelling experiences, from destination and leisure guides for holiday planning, to insightful documentaries about cuisine, culture, nature, shopping, architecture and traditions. Programmes are focused on different countries from every corner of the globe, and encompass different types of travel such as backpacking adventures, culinary quests, eco-friendly holidays and luxury getaways.

Travel Channel was launched in 1994, and broadcasts in 14 languages to 117 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Travel Channel International Limited, an independent London-based company, also operates Travel Channel Video on Demand, Travel Channel Productions and Thomson TV.

Travel Channel 2 launched on Sky Digital on Monday 11th February 2008.
