[edit] Design type, materials, and features

This "pallet-type" moving walkway consists of one-piece, die-cast aluminum pallets. There are two models, the NPT (for "public applications") and the NCT (for "commercial applications"). Both feature a variety of color and finish options available for the handrails, decking, and balustrade panels.

The NCT is available in two widths (between balustrades): 32 inches (800 mm) and 40 inches (1000 mm). This type of moving walkway runs at a speed of 100 feet per minute (.5 meters per second), utilizing an AC induction motor with one of the following horsepower rates: 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, or 15 horsepower. The maximum length possible for this particular model of moving walkway is 265 feet (80 m).[1]

The NPT comes in three widths: 40, 48, and 56 inches (1000, 1200, and 1400 mm) and features a maximum length of 395 feet (120 m). Like its sister commercial model, the NPT model runs at 100 feet per minute (.5 m per second), and offers AC induction motors with the same horsepower.[2]

Both models offer an optional "outdoor" package for installation specifications.
