Traughber Junior High School, or TJHS is a public intermediate school located in Oswego, Illinois, a small village in Illinois. It is under the jurisdiction of Oswego Community Unit School District 308. It is the oldest junior high school in the district and it used to serve as Oswego's high school which is today close to Traughber Junior High School under the name Oswego High School.

In the 2005-2006 school year, Traughber Junior High had an average score of 83.6 on the ISAT (Illinois Standards Achievement Test) with a class size average of 27.5 for sixth grade, 24.2 for seventh grade, and 21.3 for eighth grade. Traughber's last year will be the 2007-08 year where the building will then be used as a district office building. The last graduating class is the class of 2012.

It is notable to mention that former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert attended Traughber Junior High School before moving on to attend Oswego High School. He came to speak at the school in May of 2007 to congratulate essay winners that wrote about issues that the President should address.
