Trashville

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Trashville" is the title of a song by Hank Williams III referring to a derogatory name for the mainstream country music establishment of Nashville, Tennessee. It appeared on his second album, Lovesick, Broke and Driftin'.

The song refers to music executives as backstabbers who have killed true country music. It also references Texas where much of today's more traditional country music is being made.
