The Transverse Volcanic Leopard Frog or Rana Neovolcánica (Rana neovolcanica) is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, rivers, freshwater lakes, and freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
