Transmutator is a moniker used by musician Romell Regulacion, the main artist behind (Razed in Black).
Transmutator is an electronica-based act whose EP, Funky Disco, was released on October 7th, 1997. It and <RiB> are both written and recorded by the same person, Romell Regulacion. However, Transmutator incorporates more techno and hard electro/beat elements in its musical style, while Razed in Black has more lyrically-based songs, a heavier pop/rock influence, and is overall, slightly darker.
