Ingo Schulze will put on another Trans Europe run. This one will start in Italy and end in Scandinavia. Just like the 2003 event it will take again 64 days. The 2003 Trans Europe race with 5,000 km was the longest such run in the world of this kind[citation needed]. Ingo plans to limit the 2009 race to 4,700 kilometres. This will average about 65 to 70 kilometres per day. The race will start on April 19, 2009 and end on June 21, 2009.
