Tramea limbata is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is found in Botswana, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Sao Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and possibly Burundi and in Asia - India. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, shrub-dominated wetlands, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches.
