Traian Vasai

Traian Vasai, (b. 1929), is a notable Canadian painter of Romanian origin living in Montreal, Quebec. He came in Canada in 1992 after a as refugee from what was at time the Communist Romania. His very colouful combined with more dark shades of colours made him popular for his paintings. He is the father of American Romanian artists Amalia Pop, Rozalinda Vasai & grandfather to American Romanian artist Antonio Luciano Pop.
