Trachyglanis is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Amphiliidae. It includes four species, T. ineac, T. intermedius, T. minutus, and T. sanghensis.[1] Trachyglanis species are distributed in the Congo River basin. T. ineac originates from the Congo River basin at Yangambi and Tohuapa. T. intermedius inhabits the Kasai River of the Congo River basin. T. sanghensis originates from the Sanga River of the basin.[1] Trachyglanis species range from 5.0–10.1 centimetres (2.0–4.0 in) TL.[2][3][4][5]
