The bit about his CTS title is confusing. Does it mean he hadn't lead the championship until the final race (and if so, why was this controversial?) or that the results were changed after the original final results were given?

Basically what happened was this. Kvapil was competing for the championship against two other drivers, and was third points at the final race. During the race, a teammate of one of his challengers crashed and took out the points leader. Later that driver (the one whose teammate wrecked) was penalized for a rules infraction, and Kvapil won the championship. Part of the reason why this was controversial was that Kvapil had just one win that season, and that win was seemingly handed to him, much like the championship. Hope this helps. --D-Day What up?
