Talk:Traumatology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This Traumatic Stress thing shouldn't really be here, right? It has nothing to do with medical traumatology and should be moved to it's own page I guess?--Johan M 09:40, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
Indeed and deleted. There already is a Post-traumatic stress disorder page. The 'taumatic stress' paragraph referred to was purely promoting an Alternative practitioners name by someone not registered as a Wipedia user. It gave no description other than of addition of 'Asian mediation' to 'normal mediation techniques' (mediation is nice, but I suspect for alternative practitioner meditation more likely). -David Ruben 11:56, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
How much more detail do you need about traumatology? What is the saw-off between this page and WikiMed (which doesn't seem to be available at the moment)? For example, there is no description of the principles of treatment of fractures either here or on the orthopaedic surgery page. Do you want/need the orthopaedic community to weigh in with all this stuff or is it better to leave it quite superficial? - --Mylesclough 06:58, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
I agree. Let us also merge Scientist into Science, Historian into History and Pornographer into Pornography. This Wiki stuff is easy.
