gestalt: "A physical, biological, psychological, or symbolic configuration or pattern of elements so unified as a whole that its properties cannot be derived from a simple summation of its parts." - http://www.answers.com/gestalt&r=67

It is not a word made up by fans.

It's from German for "shape" or "figure".Scwlong 23:06, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Images of Gestalts

Can we get some images of the fully formed Gestalts please? --Celendin 11:04, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

I realize its a bit late, but i just got round to this page. I added a pic of Devastator (seeing as hes the original) and a good Dreamwave shot of 3 of the later era gestalts.SMegatron 18:53, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Beast Wars

"As Beast Wars and Beast Machines are officially set in neither the comic nor cartoon universe"? since when the show takes place in the G1 toon, as shown with Optimus Prime, the Ark, Starscream, Megatron, and the last year of the show?

The line initially was that it was set in a universe that merged elements of both (the recent Beast Wars vol 1 has a character history that mentions the Liege Maximo, for example) but as time went on it was obvious that it was set in the Gen 1 universe. That's probably where the confusion comes from.SMegatron 18:56, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Beast Wars (and Beast Machines) offically takes place in the Original Series cartoon but borrows lots of ideas and stoylines from other transformer lore as well. --The Matrix Prime 05:09, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fix my poor edit

Can somebody fix my edit, where I added Mass Displacement to the technology page? Im pretty sure there are no canonical sources that explain how the tech works, but I could be wrong. Also, I am not good at editing pages, and there is likley several things wrong with it that do not follow wiki rules.

[edit] Merger proposal

I propose that CR Chamber be merged with this article. It's a stub and is likely to always remain a stub.

Also, this article is written in an "in-universe" style - remember that this is fictional "technology". Camillus (talk) 20:32, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
