[edit] Name change

I have used the name Transandine because this name figures in the titles of the Argentine and Chilean Companies that built it. The other trans-Andean routes are the South Transandine and the North Transandine. David(TalkContribs) 14:20, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure it's right, all the same. Presumably the company names are Spanish ones - and though in romance languages the normal adjectival formation is Andine, in English it is Andean. I would suggest that Trans-Andean would be better. Deipnosophista (talk) 08:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
