Talk:Trampofoil
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I contest the speedy deletion. Trampofoils has several names. I'll be adding some in a minute. --Bensin 00:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- I added some synonyms and removed the link to trampofoil.com. Perhaps someone more proficient in Danish or German can translate the articles on their respective Wikipedia here and here? I'll put up a request for translation. --Bensin 01:09, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- Could you please explain what makes this product notable? AecisBrievenbus 19:31, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the external link constitutes "significant coverage in [a] reliable secondary [source] that are independent of the subject." Do you agree? I also added a link to an article in New Scientist. --Bensin 20:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- While the New Scientist probably qualifies as a reliable source, it's not clear that the device mentioned in that article is the Trampofoil of this article. I'm not sure the instruction video qualifies as significant coverage in a reliable secondary source independent of the subject though. AecisBrievenbus 21:38, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with declining the speedy deletion nomination though. As it stands, there's enough assertion of notability to avoid speedy deletion. Any further discussion that may arise should go through prod or AFD. AecisBrievenbus 21:40, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
