Talk:Traditional metal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page as a POV feel to me and really has no basis for being a page. Though Traditional Metal makes sense as the original form of Heavy Metal, it has no historical basis and the actual style of Traditional Metal could be heavily disputed. Of the four bands listed as the progenitors, I usually only see Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple mentioned. Besides that Deep Purple do not consider themselves to be a Heavy Metal Band and I believe Led Zeppelin would have similar feelings. I feel fairly strongly that this page should be deleted as no style known as Traditional Metal exists and a much better history of early Heavy Metal can be found in that entry. marnues 09:09, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Stop this nonsense !!!! Why list every other article for deletion. Just not feasible. Better rewrite or expand the article.
