[edit] A difficult beginning
Let's see. Main article: Transylvania. All cities and regions (and other related topics) linked from the main article. History of Transylvania. Transylvania in fiction (including Dracula). Verdict: not a speedy candidate. - Mike Rosoft 18:55, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, upon closer examination. I was running through Category:Contested candidates for speedy deletion and restoring the speedy tags for authors that had removed them themselves.. though in this case, you're right, this shouldn't have been speedied in the first place. I probably should have just taken the hangon off and left it at that. Perel 22:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, let's hope this evolves. I recommend the creator to read Wikipedia:Portal. feydey 09:04, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Complete reconstruction
Since I didn't want to see this MfD'd, I rebuilt the whole thing using {{box portal skeleton}}, salvaging only the Intro section from the original version. I have filled in some of the Selected Articles and Selected Biographies and included one news event. I've put a few things in the To Do list, filled in some related portals and WikiProjects and put in a link to the Commons. Also posted a note on Wikipedia:WikiProject Romania. Anyone out there? Comments?--Doug.(talk • contribs) 02:45, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Links
We need to fill those red links. We also need to write more. Basketballoneten 15:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

- For current events, we can look at [1] (Romania Libera). It's a newspaper, written in Romania, yet if someone can translate, that would be great. I can translate, but only to some extent. Cheers, Basketballoneten 15:37, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
