[edit] Eschede

The Eschede desaster on 06/03/1998 was not the worst railroad desaster in Germany. (Only the worst after World War II.) The worst ever was the bombing of Treuchtlingen station on 23rd of February 1945 with over 600 killed and 1500 injured people. The second was a train collision in Genthin station on 22nd of December 1939 with 186 killed and 106 injured people. Many greetings, --Thomas Goldammer 15:15, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Don't know how I missed the comment this long, but I've updated the text to add "since World War II". I plan to add the others you mention to the appropriate anniversary pages today... Slambo (Speak) 17:15, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
