How do you cite something on here, when it comes from a Ride Manual, that you have to turn back into Ride Operations? The 35 mph cut-off speed is public info, and if the wind goes over 35 the ride shuts it self down, theres no way around it. If I knew of somewhere online for that information I would add it. 72.241.121.114 (talk) 03:46, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- If it comes from a Ride Manual, it is not public information. Those are the private property of Cedar Point and are given to employees for training, not to be released to the public. I am finding multiple sites that list the 35mph shut down, but all of them are forums and therefore, they really are not credible. I believe there is a video with Monty Jasper talking about it though...
- Not really public information? If you were standing there and the winds blow and the ride shuts down, and a ride host, a supervisor, manager, or a maintenance guy says the ride shut down because the winds are over 35 mph, isn't that public information?72.241.121.114 (talk) 17:30, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- I am not doubting that the ride shuts down at high winds, it is just that we need a reputable source to confirm it that it shuts down at 35mph. Even though the maintenance main and ride operator are probably right, we need more that just a person saying so for it to be reliable.TPOLMike (talk) 19:24, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Galleries
Hi, in future edits I'll put the pictures as you suggested. In past edits I tried to put the galleries within the section that gave ride elements, so that those who are not familiar with rides can see a zero-g roll, for instance, rather than just read that the ride has that it. Perhaps it is because I have a widescreen monitor that it doesn't look cluttered or overdone. But, anyways, thanks for the suggestions. (Coasterman1234 (talk) 02:50, 25 December 2007 (UTC))

So here is the first article improvement drive for the WikiProject, Arrow Dynamics. There isn't a huge amount that needs doing apart from the addition of references, formatting and a copyedit. For any outstanding contributions there are barnstars available which can be given to and by anyone! Any suggestions for February's B-class Drive can be brought up on the talk page, so if there's a particular article you feel could benefit from more input then feel free to suggest it. |

A discussion is taking place regarding the best way to organise information about roller coaster records and the history of roller coasters. All members' opinions are welcomed; the discussion can be found here. |
Why not start at the top?! The main article is already at B class and, with a little help, isn't too far away from GA class. Please see the collaboration page for further information. Any suggestions for March's Article Improvement Drive can be brought up on the talk page, so if there's a particular article you feel could benefit from more input then feel free to suggest it. |
