[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Emily-israel-victoria.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Emily-israel-victoria.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 17:20, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
I corrected it and used a tag. The image was released for the purpose of locating a possible crime victim and suspects. Toyalla (talk) 17:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Emily-israel-victoria.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Emily-israel-victoria.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Strothra 19:17, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- I am sorry I did not thank you for the notice earlier. The image was used in an article but was then replaced with other images. It has been removed. Toyalla (talk) 05:03, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Death of Emily Sander
- You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Death of Emily Sander. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. will381796 (talk) 18:34, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for that information. I had been careful not to do three reverts in a 24 hour period, but understand that what has been happening can be viewed as edit warring. I have been editing on Wikipedia for several months now, and have always left it to others to argue over controversial matters. I am glad that there are procedures in place to help such conflicts from escalating, and fully accept your warning. Toyalla (talk) 05:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: RFC on Threeafterthree: Posters of RFC need to manage their own case pages.
I believe people requesting comments need to migrate their open case pages at Request for comment/User conduct by themselves; no administrator or automation will do it for them. I took the liberty of rotating it to the approved section on your behalf; as it was, it wasn't getting any exposure whatsoever, and would never be found by other editors. Take care. [edit] AfD nomination of Murder of Emily Sander
An editor has nominated Murder of Emily Sander, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Murder of Emily Sander and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:59, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
