[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Ben celebrating.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:Ben celebrating.jpg and also as Image:113740392RL359310307.jpg. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 07:46, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image licensing issues

You uploaded Image:Ben celebrating1.jpg, the license of which states that it is usable for non-commercial and/or educational uses only. However, according to Wikipedia's image policy, it is not usable as there is no restriction that Wikipedia content cannot be used for any other uses than whats specified. As a result, such images are deleted.

However, judging from the metadata of the image showing that it was taken by a personal digital camera, I am inclined to think that you may be the original creator of the image. If you are indeed the original author of the image, you may release it under a free license so that it may become usable here. In that case, you may replace the license section of the image with a free license like {{GFDL-self}}).

If you are the creator of the image, please update the license soon, or else the image will be deleted. Thanks. --soum (0_o) 19:57, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
