Towson Catholic High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Towson Catholic High School is a private Catholic, co-educational high school in the Baltimore suburb of Towson, Maryland. It is the oldest Catholic high school in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore.

The school is on the same campus as the Immaculate Conception Church of Towson, and the elementary-middle Immaculate Conception School. The school is widely known for its highly successful basketball program, which has produced NBA star Carmelo Anthony, who attended the school for three years, before moving on to Oak Hill Academy. The women's basketball team was also ranked #1 in the nation during the early 1980s, as it fielded one of the most competitive teams in Maryland Women's Basketball history.

Towson Catholic's athletic teams participate in the MIAA and IAAM, and Baltimore Catholic League.
