Townshend, Cornwall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Townshend is small village near Leedstown and Godolphin and the River Hayle. At one time it was a thriving community with a pub, post office, shop, butchers and a chapel but now all of this has changed. Everything has gone, pub, shop etc. Quiet and peacful village close to major towns like Penzance, Hayle, Helston and Camborne. Village hall still functional with many events on through the year.
