Townsend, Georgia

Townsend is an unincorporated community in McIntosh County, Georgia, United States. It lies along State Route 57 northwest of the city of Darien, the county seat of McIntosh County.[1] Its elevation is 20 feet (6 m), and it is located at 31°32′22″N, 81°31′21″W (31.5393867, -81.5226072).[2] Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 31331.[3]
