The Townsend's Big-Eared Bat (Corynorhinus townsendii) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family.

C. townsendii can be found in the following countries: Canada, Mexico, and United States.[1]

Members of the genus Corynorhinus were previously in the genus Plecotus.

Four subspecies exist:
- C. t. townsendii
- C. t. ingens (Federally endangered[citation needed])
- C. t. virginianus, the Virginia big-eared bat (Federally endangered[citation needed]; the Virginia state bat)
