The Fujitsu Towns OS was a color Graphical User Interface desktop + mouse type similar to Windows and Macintosh GUIs and designed specifically for the proprietary FM Towns PC architecture. It was bootable from its CD media in 1989, something the standard CD-ROM drive in every FM Towns computer made possible.
