The Tower Theatre located in the 9th and 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah is a historic film theater operated and maintained by the Salt Lake Film Society.

The Tower Theatre is a venue for the Sundance Film Festival.

The Tower Theatre was built in 1921. It is the oldest movie theater in the Salt Lake Valley which is still in operation today. It was the first air-conditioned movie theater in the city. The theater originally had a facade that resembled the Tower of London, but this was removed in 1950. [1]

The Tower Theatre also hosts a movie rental library, and Friday and Saturday nights attract "Midnight Movie" goers.
