Towa, Kōchi

This article is about the former village in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. There are other places in Japan with the same name, see Towa.
Towa (十和村 Towa-son?) was a village located in Hata District, Kochi, Japan. On March 20, 2006 the village merged with two other municipalities forming the new town of Shimanto in Takaoka District and no longer exists as in independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 3,399,857,236 and a density of 4.61 persons per km². The total area was 10.95 km².
