Lists are a good source of information. However they may be dated and can sometimes be replaced by categories. Victuallers 09:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] district name

There are very few results for "Townsville-Burdekin School District". My guess is that there has been a district redistribution or it has been renamed lately.

In 1999, a "Ms Gail, District Director, Townsville-Burdekin District, Education Queensland" appeared as a witness before a committee at the "public hearings and site visits". this agrees, mentioning a "Gail Mackay, then Director of Townsville-Burdekin District of Education Queensland, ...". Her bio on JCU says the same.

Also in 1999, a list of DISTRICT OFFICE LOCATIONS AND CONTACT DETAILS" lists "Townsville/Burdekin, Neptune Street, Kirwan 4817 — PO Box 276, Thuringowa Central 4817, 4773 0000, 4773 0099".

The Office of Economic and Statistical Research, Queensland Treasury has a few directory entry listings "Majors Creek State School" and "Northern Beaches State High School" as being in the "Townsville Burdekin" district. John Vandenberg 07:10, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
