[edit] Rationale for fair use on page The Towers of Trebizond only

  1. Cover art, for identification and critical commentary (not for identification without critical commentary)
  2. No free equivalent is available, or could be created, which would serve the same encyclopedic purpose to illustrate the cover art for this book. The image cannot be replaced by a different one which has the same effect.
  3. The image is not used in a manner likely to replace the original market role of the original copyrighted media.
  4. As few uses of the image as possible are included in Wikipedia: this rationale applies only to The Towers of Trebizond. One use in that article only will suffice and it is used only as necessary.
  5. A low-resolution image is used, and could not be used for piracy.
  6. The image has been previously published outside Wikipedia.
  7. It meets general Wikipedia content requirements and is encyclopedic.
  8. It meets the Wikipedia:Image use policy.
  9. It is used in at least one article.
  10. It is used only as its presence will significantly enhance readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding.
  11. It is used only in an article, (not a disambiguation page), subject to Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria exemptions.
