Toumani Diagouraga (born 9 June 1987) is a French central midfielder currently playing for Watford.
Having been spotted by a Watford scout in Paris, Diagouraga signed for Watford's Academy. He signed professional terms in November 2004 aged just 17 after he was reportedly scouted by Premiership clubs. He made his first team debut in a League Cup victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 20 September 2005. He went on to make another three starts for the club before signing for Swindon Town on loan in March 2006, where he performed impressively.
During the January 2007 transfer window, Diagouraga was loaned to Rotherham for the remainder of the season. On August 8, 2007 he was loaned out to Hereford United in League 2 until Christmas with a view to a longer deal. In his 7th game for Hereford he scored his first professional goal against Bradford City which they went on to win 4-2 and take Hereford 2nd in the league with 7 matches gone. He was an ever-present in the side this season, until he picked up a 1 match suspension. The loan was subsequently extended until the end of the season, as part of the Lionel Ainsworth transfer, with Hereford being given first option to buy Toumani.
