Toulon Tournament
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Toulon Tournament (officially the Tournoi Espoirs de Toulon or "Toulon Hopefuls' Tournament")[1] is a[2] football tournament which traditionally features invited national teams comprised of Under-21 players,[2] although the first tournament in 1967 featured club teams [2]. It has been limited to national teams since 1974 [2].
The tournament is held around the Region-du-Var, with the final being held in Toulon itself.[2] It is not run under the supervision of UEFA or an individual national association.[2]
