Touch Me (Angel City)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Touch Me (All Night Long) was a song released in 2004 by electronic dance group Angel City. The band was formed by Zentveld & Oomen.
Touch Me was Angel City's second release after their first hit in 2003 with Love Me Right (Oh Sheila). Touch Me Managed to reach number 2 in the UK dance charts and number 18 in the UK top 40. This was lower than their first hit which reached number 11 in the UK charts. It also samples the chorus from Cathy Dennis's 1990 UK #6 & US #2 hit single Touch Me (All Night Long.
Touch Me was not released in The U.S.
It was taken from Angel City's First Album, Love Me Right, along with 3 other hits:
- Sunrise
- Do You Know (I Go Crazy)
- Love Me Right (Oh Sheila)
The single had the radio edit plus two bonus remixes and featured the video of "Touch Me."
The video featured Angel City's vocalist, Lara McAllen and several dancers dressed in black dancing with chairs.
The release of Touch Me in the summer of 2004 led to the release of the band's next hit, Do You Know (I Go Crazy) as the band was nearly splitting after their first hit but Touch Me restored their status.
After the release of The "Love Me Right" Album in 2005, Lara McAllen left the group to pursue a solo career. However, Angel City unexpectedly released a new single, 24/7, on the 27th of March 2007 for download only. It featured the vocals of Lara McAllen which concluded she had returned to the Group.
